Game Funding Project Manager (m/f/d)

What we are looking for
​The gamigo group is looking at the earliest opportunity for a Game Funding Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our Business Development Team in Hamburg.

As the Game Funding Project Manager (m/f/d) you will be working effectively with colleagues/departments across the gamigo group and will build strong relationships with municipal, state and federal funding agencies, on a national and international level.
Your Tasks
  • You will carry out the structured screening of funding providers and funding measures on a national and international level
  • You will be responsible for seeking and identifying specific funding opportunities for selected key areas of activity within the gamigo group and for implementing the acquisition of funding
  • You will be responsible for defining and ensuring efficient processes for handling funding projects in compliance with regulations, in cooperation with the business units concerned and in compliance with the municipal, state, federal, and/or other funder guidelines
  • You will assist the gamigo group in writing proposals before submission to funders, collecting information from partners, processing of written inputs and background documents
  • You will act as the interface between the gamigo group and public funding organisations, third parties and management teams
  • You will act as the focal point both for receiving reports, comments and project funds from the funding parties and partners as well as for distributing and disseminating these further as and when necessary
  • You will monitor and work with applicable departments in achieving project completion and funding compliance, following up with responsible parties as needed in both obtaining and conveying information and contractual documentation
  • You will check and monitor budget expenditure both at project and partner organisations’ level
  • You will be responsible for the preparation of detailed interim and final reports
  • You will present concepts, status updates, and information to a variety of groups, managing reporting and monitoring requirements as well as the annual project funding cash flow budget
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related field experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public funding and demonstrating a track record of work that contributed to successful project funding proposals and administration
  • Experience of project management or equivalent
  • Understanding of public funding and project reporting
  • Ability to absorb, retain, and proficiently implement complicated, nuanced processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and municipal agencies and programs aimed at public funding  projects
  • A detail-oriented, thorough, and organized approach to work
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to remain adaptable, flexible, and to change the approach or method to best fit the situation
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross departmental relationships
  • Detail- and efficiency-oriented approach to responsibilities
  • Good communicator, with good written and oral skills
  • Languages: fluent in German & English
